Health is something that we know is important for our well-being and many times it can be difficult to get it together.

My goal in working as a Shape Coach is for you to have a sustainable lifestyle where health is the focus.

I have worked with nutrition for 25 years, where I worked as a chef, kitchen manager, restaurant consultant and ran my own restaurant. I have also trained and coached chefs and waitresses to reach their potential. My view on diet is to see what particular need you have and where I would rather add than take away. Since the diet is an important detail in your health as you need energy to be able to get rid of energy, it is essential that it should work in practice, cover your nutritional needs, be relevant and sustainable in the long run. Besides that, food should taste good, not take too long, not be too complicated to prepare and be fun!

 In addition to a great interest in food, I am also passionate about exercise. When I was 8 years old, my journey in martial arts began with both karate and wrestling. In the meantime, I have also performed various different dance styles, where my focus in the end became partner dance such as Latinamrekan Competition dance and social couple dance. I have also competed and performed and coached dancers to become better dancers both physically and mentally. Based on my broad competence, I have also coached in other elite areas such as figure skating, where the figure skater came in 7th place in the world.

 When it comes to training, it is an important part to work with the five basic principles; strength, coordination, mobility, endurance and speed. Also places great emphasis on warm-up, dynamic stretching, functional analyses, strength tests and full-body exercises in all three planes of motion with all joint movements.

I am a licensed personal trainer andtrained health coach, in mindfulness, stress coach and now studying to become an Ayurvedic doctor.
 
For me, it is just as important to feel good physically in your body and feel strong as to have inner well-being, because I have my own experiences with exhaustion depression and personal development on several levels, I have helped both myself and others to feel better both physically and psychologically. All this through the right type of training and healthy thinking regarding mental, physical and spiritual health.

I have proudly graduated with a Health Fitness Trainer Diploma from Bryan College in Toronto, Canada, and have further strengthened my skills by becoming ACE certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise. During my degree program, I focused on various aspects of exercise, including performance enhancement techniques, clinical and medical considerations, the basics of group exercise, and nutrition and weight management.

My focus and passion lies in creating individually tailored training programs for each client, and I find great joy in sharing my knowledge.
