membership conditions
§ 1. Membership
Membership at Grand Fitness is personal. The minimum age to sign a membership agreement is 20 years.
When visiting the club, members must always register by swiping their membership card/membership bracelet. Members are obliged to always bring their membership card/membership bracelet with them during their stay at the club, even during training, so that this can be shown during any inspection. If you do not bring your membership card/membership bracelet, an administrative fee is charged for entry to the gym. Entry without a membership card/membership bracelet also requires presentation of valid identification. In case of loss of membership card/membership bracelet or if it is damaged so that it becomes unusable, this must be reported immediately to the reception, who will then issue a new card for a fee. The member is obliged to notify Grand Fitness immediately in the event of a change in name, address, telephone number and other information provided. All correspondence from Grand Fitness goes to the registered address, your email address or mobile number.
§ 2. Payment
The agreed price assumes that payment takes place in the agreed manner.
Cash payment
When signing an agreement, the cost of the membership is paid in full at the conclusion of the agreement. Administrative fee on the cash cards is included in the purchase of a membership card or membership bracelet.
Payment via direct debit
All training fees are paid monthly in advance. Direct debit withdrawals take place at the turn of each month (between the 25th and 31st day of the month). The direct debit agreement applies indefinitely and until the agreement is terminated by either party. In case of regular payment of membership, a membership fee of SEK 150 per year is added. The fee is charged the first time when the membership has lasted for 12 months and is charged thereafter for the first month of each commencing twelve-month period that the membership lasts. The fee is not refunded if the membership ends before the twelve-month period to which the payment relates has expired. When you buy your membership, you pay the club fee and the first training period until the first direct debit draw. Cost of membership card or membership bracelet is additional. Grand Fitness reserves the right to charge statutory interest, administrative fees, reminder fees and collection costs in the event of late or non-payment. Company agreements and any discounts paid via direct debit are automatically price-adjusted after the mandatory 12-month period to the current regular price. Discounted agreements can be extended if the member presents a valid reason for the discount no later than 10 days before the 12-month period has expired. Company agreements are extended by 12 months at a time. Student agreement prices are adjusted to the current regular price after the most recently presented student certificate expires. The discounted price is then extended for as long as the presented valid proof is valid for students. If a valid student/employment certificate is presented after the price has already changed to the regular price, the price will be adjusted with respect to the remaining months. Retroactive price adjustments are not made.
The student price is readjusted to the regular price on September 1 of the year the young person turns 20, unless a valid student certificate is presented. The price of the student card is adjusted to the current regular price after the most recently presented student certificate expires. Retroactive payments are not made. Payer agrees that payment may be made by withdrawal from the specified account, at the request of the specified recipient on a certain day (the due date), via direct debit.
Payment via invoice
When paying via invoice, a credit period of ten days applies. Age limit for invoice payment is 18 years. An invoicing fee is added to all invoices. Grand Fitness reserves the right to charge statutory interest, administrative fees, reminder fees and collection costs in the event of late or non-payment.
§ 3. Contract period and termination
All agreements have a mandatory notice period of two months (deviations may occur, e.g. in the case of agreements with a binding period). Cash-paid cards expire automatically if not renewed. Grand Fitness recommends that termination takes place at the parent club, alternatively by phone or email.
§ 4. Freezing and transfer of membership agreements
Direct debit members can freeze their card once a year, for a maximum of 2 months. Freezing can only be done for whole months and payment-free months can only be equal to calendar months. Longer freezing of the membership agreement is possible in case of long-term sick leave, work/study abroad or pregnancy. Medical certificate or work certificate is required. In these cases, the membership agreement can be frozen for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 12 months per calendar year. After the freezing period has expired, the membership agreement is automatically activated. Freezing cannot be done afterwards. Cash agreements and certain campaign cards cannot be frozen. Freezing cannot be combined with notice period. Transfer of the membership card can be done once on an annual card, i.e. the person who took over the membership cannot, in turn, transfer the card. Transfer can only take place during the binding period. A cost of SEK 300 is charged by Grand Fitness at the time of the transfer. The taking over member must accept the club's terms and conditions in writing and be approved by Grand Fitness.
§ 5. Price changes
The monthly agreement via direct debit is protected against all kinds of increases during the commitment period. After that, a price increase may occur. Any price increase is notified to the member at least 45 days before it takes effect. The member will thus be given the opportunity to withdraw from the agreement. If a member withdraws from the agreement due to price change or changes in the business that are to the detriment of the member and no alternative option is given, any amount deposited will be refunded.
